Role Overview / Mission
This role involves securing live performances and events for our artists, and developing marketing campaigns to increase event attendance and artist exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure live performances, tours, and engagements with venues, promoters, and event organizers.
- Manage artists, understanding their career goals and strategic growth.
- Draft, review, and finalize booking contracts to ensure favorable and clear terms.
- Maintain and expand a professional network of industry contacts, including venue managers, talent buyers, and promoters.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of shows, including travel, hospitality, and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement marketing plans for each event using traditional and digital channels.
- Manage social media accounts, email marketing campaigns, and press releases to build event awareness.
- Create promotional materials, including event posters, flyers, and digital ad copy.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and new promotional opportunities.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance to optimize future strategies.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Experience in booking, talent buying, or promotions/marketing management, preferably within the entertainment or music industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a record of successful deal-making.
- Knowledge of the entertainment industry, including current trends and key players.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., social media management tools, email marketing software, ad platforms).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail.
Location & Work Setup
This is a remote position.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay ranges from $15.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus a 20% commission on all completed bookings.
Benefits include a flexible schedule.
