Role Overview / Mission
This role is responsible for leading strategies to generate high-quality leads and nurture prospects. The Demand Generation and Digital Marketing Manager will initiate, propose, and implement engagement through targeted email outreach, automated workflows, and paid advertising campaigns. This position works closely with sales to support pipeline goals by moving prospects through the sales funnel.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategize, write, build, and execute email nurture campaigns to engage, educate, and convert leads.
* Build and optimize automated workflows, drip campaigns, and behavioral triggers to enhance lead nurturing and retention.
* Manage HubSpot subscription types, marketing contacts, and list segmentation.
* Create, implement, and optimize lead scoring models, MQL/SQL criteria, and trigger-based workflows for seamless handoff to sales.
* Develop campaign ideas for email content, including writing compelling copy, optimizing subject lines, and calls-to-action.
* Develop and maintain lead generation landing pages, forms, and registration pages for outreach, events, and paid campaigns.
* Ensure clear communication between marketing and sales to develop and maintain the email calendar and propose timely, region-specific campaigns.
* Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost-per-lead, MQL to SQL conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and return on investment (ROI).
* Monitor engagement metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, conversions, and attribution, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
* Design and build branded, conversion-focused email templates that adhere to brand style guidelines and email best practices.
* Develop, implement, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and other platforms to drive leads and conversions.
* Conduct keyword research and audience/CRM targeting to align campaigns with ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and funnel stages.
* Track ad activity for conversions, marketing activity, and meetings booked, report on metrics, and make recommendations based on insights.
Required Qualifications / Skills
* 6+ years of marketing or sales experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional writing skills for email and campaign content, with an understanding of topics relevant to educators and decision-makers.
* Proven track record in demand generation, lead nurturing, and marketing automation.
* Strong understanding of MQL-SQL processes, pipeline management, and lead scoring models.
* Experience running paid campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta, with a focus on optimizing for lead generation.
* An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
* Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
* Strong preference for expertise in HubSpot, including automation, list segmentation, landing pages, forms, and reporting.
* Preferably experience in education-focused marketing (Computer Science, STEAM, or robotics).
Location & Work Setup
This role can be performed remotely. The company also has a physical presence in Greenville, TX.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $99,000 – $116,000. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
