Role Overview / Mission

The Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for setting and executing the global paid media strategy across all major platforms. This role exists to ensure consistent performance growth and scalability across multiple international markets, managing a team of media buyers, collaborating with creative and marketing teams, and delivering measurable results through data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel paid advertising strategies (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.) across multiple international markets.
  • Manage a high monthly ad budget, ensuring optimal budget allocation and return on investment (ROI).
  • Mentor, manage, and grow the internal team of media buyers and analysts to continually improve performance and efficiency.
  • Build and refine customer acquisition funnels with a focus on customer lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and conversion optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to guide the production of high-performing ad creatives and landing pages that convert.
  • Oversee tracking, attribution, and data integrity, ensuring campaign performance can be accurately measured and scaled.
  • Analyze campaign data, forecast performance, and present strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Develop testing frameworks and growth experiments to unlock new performance opportunities.
  • Stay informed about platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging ad technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in paid performance marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing a team.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale e-commerce campaigns across multiple geographies and currencies.
  • Strong command of Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Ads, with working knowledge of other key ad platforms.
  • Advanced analytical and attribution skills, including data interpretation, A/B testing, and funnel optimization.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics: ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), CAC, LTV, AOV (Average Order Value), CTR (Click-Through Rate), and CPA (Cost Per Acquisition).
  • Experience with creative direction and providing actionable feedback to design and video teams.
  • Skilled at managing budgets, forecasting spend, and identifying growth opportunities through data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data and strategy into clear business insights.
