Role Overview / Mission
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist specializing in Paid Social. This role is responsible for building, managing, and maintaining paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Axon by Applovin. The role ensures accurate and organized campaign execution, from ad uploads to performance management, enabling the team to operate efficiently. Beyond setup, this position supports reporting, analysis, and ongoing optimization to enhance campaign efficiency and performance across various channels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and process-driven, capable of managing a high volume of ad uploads while taking ownership of specific channels and developing expertise in paid media. This is a hands-on position for someone who values precise, organized execution and thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on launching, optimizing, and managing campaigns across multiple paid social platforms. This role reports to the Growth Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and manage paid social advertisements, ad sets, and campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Axon by Applovin, ensuring all campaign details are accurate and consistent.
- Take daily ownership of specific paid social channels, including campaign setup, optimizations, budget pacing, and performance monitoring.
- Follow established quality assurance checklists and internal processes to ensure all campaigns meet brand and platform standards before launch, including naming conventions, ad copy, landing pages, audience targeting, UTM tracking, and ad format requirements.
- Manage a high volume of weekly ad uploads (over 50 on Meta alone) across various ad types and aspect ratios (1×1, 4×5, 9×16), meeting deadlines with precision.
- Update and organize ads within project and creative management systems such as Asana and Air.
- Support testing, reporting, and analysis by tracking performance metrics using tools like Motion and Northbeam, and share insights and learnings with the broader team.
- Partner with the Growth Marketing Manager and Creative Strategist to implement creative testing and optimization strategies, ensuring campaigns launch on time and align with broader strategy goals.
- Stay informed about platform updates, test new formats and features, and find innovative ways to differentiate paid social creatives and drive performance growth.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in paid social ad operations, media buying, or digital marketing execution.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager.
- Proven ability to manage and adjust campaigns to meet performance goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors before campaigns go live.
- Comfort using data and analytics tools (e.g., Motion, Northbeam) to derive insights and support the Growth Marketing Manager in guiding paid strategy.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable owning campaign uploads and management, maintaining organization, and executing independently.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Pinterest, TikTok, and/or Axon by Applovin.
- Experience with Asana, Air, Motion, Google Sheets, and various analytics dashboards.
