Role Overview / Mission

The People Operations Associate supports People Operations functions by executing processes across the entire employee lifecycle, including maintaining employee records within the HRIS. This role is for someone process-driven and passionate about creating an efficient and seamless employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the People Team inbox and Slack channel, responding to employee inquiries as needed.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, coordinating pre-employment documentation, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including exit paperwork, system deactivations, and internal coordination.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Generate reports to provide insights on workforce trends.
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing HRIS functionalities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc People Team projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with ADP HRIS platform.
