Role Overview / Mission
The People Operations Associate supports People Operations functions by executing processes across the entire employee lifecycle, including maintaining employee records within the HRIS. This role is for someone process-driven and passionate about creating an efficient and seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the People Team inbox and Slack channel, responding to employee inquiries as needed.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, coordinating pre-employment documentation, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
- Manage offboarding procedures, including exit paperwork, system deactivations, and internal coordination.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Generate reports to provide insights on workforce trends.
- Assist in implementing and optimizing HRIS functionalities.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Support ad hoc People Team projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role.
- Experience working in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with ADP HRIS platform.
