The organization also establishes safe house networks, national legal and mental health teams, and economic independence programs to support survivors’ long-term well-being and self-sufficiency.
Role Overview / Mission
We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead national marketing campaigns and establish a new safety technology. This role involves joining a small team of founding Chief Officers dedicated to the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead marketing efforts for the initial crowdfunding launch, including campaign development, visuals, ads, video content, email campaigns, and landing pages.
- Oversee social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Develop content designed to inspire action and build community engagement.
- Collaborate with the CEO and PR advisors to define brand tone and public communication.
- Coordinate with influencer partners, micro-blog accounts, journalists, and media outlets.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Proven experience in social media marketing, crowdfunding campaigns, or digital media.
- Strong storytelling and social copywriting skills.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on building new initiatives.
- Ability to commit 5–10 hours per week leading up to the launch period.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with nonprofit or mission-driven brands.
Location & Work Setup
This is a remote position. The role is initially part-time, requiring 5–10 hours per week, with a transition to a full-time salaried role after the crowdfunding phase.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
- Before Crowdfunding (October–November): Part-time, $35 per hour for 5–10 hours per week, with payment scheduled for November 24.
- After Crowdfunding: Transition to a full-time salaried role at $60,000–$80,000+ per year, inclusive of deferred compensation, plus performance-based bonuses tied to donor engagement and fundraising outcomes.
