Role Overview / Mission

This Entry-Level Freelance Marketing Assistant role supports the marketing department. It exists to assist with campaign execution, research, content management, and administrative tasks. The position offers an opportunity to start a career in marketing.

Key Responsibilities

* Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms.
* Conduct market research to identify marketing trends and opportunities.
* Support daily administrative tasks for the marketing team, including email marketing and campaign tracking.
* Organize and manage digital files, promotional materials, and marketing reports.
* Engage with online audiences, monitor social channels, and provide customer support as needed.
* Assist in the development and implementation of SEO strategies.
* Coordinate with freelancers and vendors for marketing material production.
* Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings.

Required Qualifications / Skills

* Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
* Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
* Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Canva.
* Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a marketing career.
* Ability to follow instructions while applying creativity to assigned tasks.
* No prior full-time experience is required.
* Eagerness to build a career in digital marketing.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Creative thinking with an eye for engaging content.

* Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced digital environment.

Location & Work Setup

This is a 100% remote, freelance-based position. Work can be done from anywhere globally, with an asynchronous work environment allowing for flexible scheduling across any time zone.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a part-time freelance role, starting with 10–20 hours per week, with potential for more based on performance and project needs.
