Role Overview / Mission

This role involves participating in independent research aimed at understanding how marketing agencies develop and manage content strategy, SEO campaigns, and client content workflows. The purpose is to gather feedback on current practices, tools, successes, and challenges within the industry. This is a research interview, not a sales call.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 30-minute research interview.
  • Discuss your agency’s content strategy process.
  • Detail tools utilized for content planning and workflow management.
  • Share insights on what aspects of your workflow are effective and what presents frustrations or consumes significant time.
  • Address questions regarding keyword research and content planning for clients.
  • Explain approaches to building content strategy for new clients.
  • Describe strategies for AEO or AI Search Optimization.
  • Outline how outlines, briefs, and approvals are managed internally and with clients.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Must be an owner, lead, or senior team member at an SEO or content marketing agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning or managing content strategy.
  • Ability to clearly communicate about agency processes and tools.
  • Practical, day-to-day experience running or working in a marketing agency is essential.
  • No technical background is required.

Location & Work Setup

This is a remote research interview.

Compensation & Benefits

Participants will be compensated at a rate of $20 to $45 per hour for their time.
