Role Overview / Mission
This Entry-Level Freelance Marketing Assistant role is designed for individuals passionate about digital marketing, social media, and content creation. You will support our marketing department in campaign execution, research, content management, and administrative tasks. The mission of this role is to help launch your career in marketing by offering hands-on experience in real projects within a flexible work setup.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms.
* Conduct market research to identify new marketing trends and opportunities.
* Support daily administrative tasks, including email marketing and campaign tracking.
* Organize and manage digital files, promotional materials, and marketing reports.
* Engage with online audiences, monitor social channels, and provide customer support as needed.
* Assist in developing and implementing SEO strategies.
* Coordinate with external freelancers and vendors for marketing material production.
* Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings.
Required Qualifications / Skills
* Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
* Familiarity with major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
* Comfort using tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Canva, or similar platforms.
* Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a marketing career.
* Ability to follow instructions while also applying creativity to assigned tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Willingness to receive feedback and apply it to future work.
* Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced digital environment.
* No prior full-time experience is required.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
* Internship experience in marketing, communications, or social media.
* A portfolio or examples of previous social media or content creation work.
* Basic knowledge of SEO, content writing, or email marketing tools.
Location & Work Setup
This is a 100% remote, freelance-based position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world. The work environment is asynchronous, supporting flexibility across different time zones.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a part-time freelance role, starting at 10–20 hours per week, with potential for more based on performance and project needs.
