Let’s Save The Strays International (LSTSI) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization based in the United States. We provide free spay, neuter, and rabies vaccination programs in Myanmar. Our mission addresses a critical public health crisis where rabies, primarily spread by dogs, tragically impacts both animals and children by the thousands each year. Our Burmese veterinary teams deliver essential medical care and educate schoolchildren on safe and kind interactions with animals, embodying a One Health approach to protect both people and animals.

Role Overview / Mission

This part-time volunteer role is for a Social Media Coordinator or Manager who will use their professional digital marketing skills to support our mission. The purpose of this role is to help tell the stories of the animals and people we serve in Myanmar, raise awareness, and inspire global action from a remote setting. The time commitment is 5 to 7 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Collect photos, stories, and updates directly from our veterinary teams in Myanmar.
  • Manage our content calendar and support donor initiatives, including our Stray Guardians Circle.
  • Track engagement across platforms and recommend strategies to improve our online reach.
  • Collaborate with our small U.S. volunteer team to enhance our overall online presence.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • At least two years of professional experience managing social media for a nonprofit, brand, or business.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for effective visuals.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • A genuine passion for animal welfare, compelling storytelling, and global public health initiatives.

Location & Work Setup

This is a remote position. Volunteers based in the U.S. are preferred.
