QA Tester

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing to identify software defects. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features and report bugs effectively. Document and track issues using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing. Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and suggest improvements to enhance product quality. Participate in test automation efforts where applicable and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail). Familiarity with both manual and automated testing practices. Minimum of 2 years experience in software quality assurance or a similar QA role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Nice-to-haves

Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Experience in testing web applications, mobile apps, or enterprise software. Experience working remotely or in a flexible work environment. Familiarity with automation tooling and participation in test automation efforts.
