Role Overview / Mission
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation professional, comfortable with front-end, back-end, and mobile testing. This role is responsible for developing and designing automated tests across these areas, ensuring compliance with business requirements, and collaborating with the development team, Product Manager, and graphic designers to guarantee the quality of each component developed.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in task estimation and tracking of pending or generated bugs.
- Understand the structure of user stories and contribute to their creation (GWT, INVEST, SMART).
- Engage in refinement sessions and communicate assertively.
- Demonstrate autonomy in executing duties.
- Ensure compliance with the project’s testing model.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Test automation for REST and SOAP services.
- Mobile test automation using Appium (1+ years hands-on experience).
- Frontend test automation using Playwright or similar tools (e.g., Selenium) (1+ years hands-on experience).
- Karate framework (2+ years hands-on experience).
- Java and automation patterns.
- Gradle.
- GitFlow.
- Knowledge of the test pyramid (integration, component, and system tests).
- Consumer-driven contract testing (PACT, CDC) and Pact Broker tool.
- 2+ years of development experience.
- Understanding of IT practices and software development methodologies (Scrum, Agile).
- Ability to quickly adapt and be proactive.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) for interaction with Product, Design, and Back-end teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of security concepts such as SSL, certificates, keystore/truststore.
- Agile/Scrum experience in the financial/banking sector.
