Application Support Engineer

About the position

The team is responsible for supporting the sustainment of Applications/Services providing the backend administration and support in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts. The role is 100% remote and requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Installing application client tools on VDI images/pools; troubleshooting connections to applications and integrations; load balancing configuration for applications; application configuration with SAML/SSO authentication; providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for related integration issues; creating a management plan, validating sizing and forecasted sizing; maintaining licenses and key secrets in a vault; producing STIGs and CDRL documentation.

Requirements

Experience with Windows and Linux environments; Microsoft Windows Server administration; VMware VDI; administration and configuration experience with tools such as ALM Octane, UFT, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, ReadyAPI, VMWare/Horizon is preferred. Must have current CompTIA Security+ certification. Eligible candidates must hold an active Secret clearance. Desired certifications for 8570 baseline include CISSP, CCNA, CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CND, CSSLP, CYSA+, GSLC, SSCP.

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with CyberArk, Micro Focus ALM Octane, experience with STIGs and CDRL documentation, prior experience in Oracle Cloud environments, and familiarity with the listed testing and monitoring tools (UFT, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, ReadyAPI).
