Role Overview / Mission
Superside is seeking a Content Marketing Strategist to define, organize, and amplify the stories that represent the brand. This role involves guiding the content ecosystem, transforming insights, industry viewpoints, and internal knowledge into valuable experiences that inform, inspire, and drive engagement. It is a strategic and editorial position, requiring collaboration with subject matter experts, marketers, and community stakeholders to ensure all content contributes to the overall brand narrative, supports demand generation efforts, and enhances community presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and package thought leadership, insights, and creative assets into compelling content experiences, including newsletters, gated resources, and event summaries.
* Work with subject matter experts and marketing teams to refine existing knowledge into content that tells a cohesive brand story.
* Collaborate with events and field marketing to develop narratives around summits, webinars, and other key moments, producing high-impact pre- and post-event content.
* Repurpose content across various channels such as blogs, social media, gated content, and email to maximize reach and relevance.
* Manage an editorial calendar that balances new content creation with reuse, ensuring consistency in tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
* Apply storytelling techniques to make complex topics accessible, focusing on delivering value and insight rather than just volume.
* Monitor engagement data and community feedback to continuously improve content strategy.
* Oversee the external newsletter’s voice and direction, highlighting community achievements, events, and industry perspectives.
* Manage freelance contributors and subject matter experts to ensure timely delivery and brand alignment.
* Analyze performance metrics to track return on investment and inform ongoing strategy adjustments.
Required Qualifications / Skills
* 3–5 years of experience in content strategy, editorial, or related roles.
* Strong editorial judgment and a proven ability to package content that resonates with specific audiences.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
* Experience managing newsletters, gated content, and multi-channel content repurposing.
* Strong project management skills and comfort managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
* Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social publishing tools.
* Curiosity and awareness of industry trends, with a focus on identifying relevant stories in a competitive market.
* Interest in AI and adaptability to incorporate emerging tools into content creation workflows.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
* B2B experience.
