Role Overview / Mission
The Growth Marketing Manager leads a dedicated team of digital marketers and acts as a Chief Marketing Officer for Client Accelerators’ clients. This role exists to catalyze client growth by strategizing, developing, and launching new sales funnels, managing media buying strategies, contributing to copywriting, and consistently driving a high return on ad spend (ROAS). The manager will identify solutions to growth problems and provide clear strategic direction to both the internal team and clients, working directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* **Leadership & Team Development:** Hire, build, and guide multiple performance marketing teams, including Media Buyers, Copywriters, Videographers, Business Intelligence specialists, and Account Managers. Develop existing leaders, delegate tasks, and foster their growth. Be accountable for the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall goals of the assigned pod. Forecast hiring needs and collaborate with HR to ensure appropriate talent placement, onboarding, and training for new Media Buyers.
* **Funnel Strategy & Execution:** Strategize, develop, and launch new marketing funnels for top clients (e.g., Low Ticket Straight Sale, Webinar, Call Funnels). Coordinate with project managers to disseminate work within the team to meet launch timelines. Build out one new sales funnel per quarter for either new or existing clients, covering overall strategy, core concepts, product offerings, pricing, marketing technology setup, and contact lifecycle sequences. Measure and analyze performance, refining strategies based on outcomes.
* **Client Strategy & Objectives:** Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing metric reviews with clients. Analyze campaign performance, lead conversion rates, customer database growth and quality, and pipeline growth. Forecast client profit, return on ad spend (ROAS), booked calls, and overall ad spend. Collaborate with media buyers to strategize and execute growth campaigns. Drive initiatives to test new channels and diversify ad spend.
* **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Monitor key performance indicators for the pod’s success and adjust strategies based on predefined targets. Ensure timely and efficient optimization based on performance data.
* **Creative Ideation & Management:** Work with copywriters and senior media buyers to ideate and launch high-impact direct response video ads that drive ROAS.
* **Media Buying Strategy:** Partner with the Senior Media Buyer in the pod to strategize quarterly, monthly, and annual media buying plans for all clients within the assigned group.
* **Financial Accountability:** Responsible for achieving 95% of the projected quarterly bonus for the assigned pod, including forecasting and weekly pacing reports. Achieve 90% of client growth KPIs. Ensure the pod maintains a 65% gross profit margin, maintaining 2x payroll before bonuses. Ensure all time tracking sheets are submitted weekly by the Project Manager.
Required Qualifications / Skills
* Minimum 3 years of experience working in the information product or consulting niche.
* Proven track record for scaling consulting or information businesses.
* Experience managing advertising budgets on social media platforms exceeding $50,000 per month.
* Minimum 1 year of experience managing a team or leading cross-functional projects.
* Experience developing a holistic digital growth strategy through a deep understanding of both organic and paid revenue sources.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with email marketing.
* Experience managing Google/YouTube advertising budgets.
* Agency experience and/or experience in a client-facing role.
* Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience.
Location & Work Setup
This is a fully remote position. For those who prefer an in-person environment, offices are available in New Jersey and Florida.
