Role Overview / Mission

As a LinkedIn Content Marketer, you will manage DailyRemote’s LinkedIn content strategy and execution, working closely with the co-founders. The goal of this role is to establish thought leadership, drive engagement, and achieve business outcomes through short-form, social-first content. This position involves both strategic planning and hands-on content creation, including using AI-powered workflows to produce high-quality content at scale. You will be responsible for creating content that performs well on the platform’s algorithm, builds an authentic brand voice, and positions DailyRemote as a leader in the remote work sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and expand the company’s LinkedIn presence with consistent content.
* Create engaging brand messaging and thought leadership content for B2C audiences.
* Write original content based on industry insights and strategic direction.
* Schedule social media posts and interact with professional audiences.
* Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies for market positioning.
* Design visual content for professional social media platforms using tools like Canva or CapCut.
* Develop content strategies to increase brand recognition and support outbound marketing.
* Track content performance using LinkedIn metrics (engagement, reach, profile views).
* Generate regular performance reports with results and strategic recommendations.
* Adjust content strategies based on data, platform trends, and feedback.

Required Qualifications / Skills

* 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or related fields, ideally in B2B/B2C environments or agency settings.
* Proven expertise in LinkedIn content with demonstrated success in increasing engagement, building thought leadership, and developing content strategies.
* Proficiency in AI content development, specifically using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar content platforms.
* Exceptional short-form writing and editing skills, including a strong understanding of voice, narrative structure, and platform-specific best practices.
* Experience in building and executing content strategies from their inception.
* Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently while remaining connected to the team.
* Strong understanding of what drives LinkedIn content performance, including algorithm dynamics, formatting, and emerging trends.
* Ability to use AI as an effective tool, craft prompts, and edit AI outputs to ensure an authentic human voice and strategic positioning.
* Keen editorial judgment to identify and correct weak positioning, unclear messaging, or off-brand content.
* Capability in content operations and management, including managing content calendars, coordinating with collaborators, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality at high volume.
* Adaptability and a commitment to staying current with LinkedIn platform changes, content formats, and best practices, adjusting strategies based on data insights.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

* In-depth knowledge of the LinkedIn algorithm, content formats, and new platform features.
* A portfolio showcasing LinkedIn content created or managed.
* Experience with other content channels such as Substack, newsletters, or X/Twitter.
* Background working with founders or executives on personal branding.
* Experience in B2C marketing.
* Familiarity with SEO principles and content analytics platforms.
* Experience with design briefs or visual storytelling skills.
