Role Overview / Mission
This role exists to manage daily social media channels and partner operations. You will oversee external marketing vendors, coordinate with Amazon managers, a brick-and-mortar broker, and affiliate partners. Responsibilities also include responding to customers, liaising with the fulfillment center, executing email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo, and performing minor Shopify edits. You will manage, brief, and hold external partners accountable for creative strategy and ad production timelines and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily relationships with external agencies and contractors for paid social media, creative content, and strategy.
- Coordinate with Amazon channel managers on product catalog health, product page content (PDP and A+), customer reviews, Q&A responses, promotions, and paid advertising (PPC) activities.
- Work with our brick-and-mortar broker on sales calendars, retail promotions, required assets, and post-promotion summaries.
- Oversee affiliate partners and platforms, ensuring offers, assets, tracking links, and compliance are up-to-date, and coordinate payouts with the finance team.
- Translate business goals into clear briefs, deadlines, and deliverables for partners.
- Track campaigns and budgets, secure necessary assets, and hold partners accountable to performance indicators and timelines.
- Compile weekly summaries detailing campaign activity, costs, and results.
- Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, and mentions on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Coordinate responses for Amazon customer Q&A and reviews with Amazon managers.
- Escalate product, medical, or safety questions using established procedures, log frequently asked questions, and identify emerging trends.
- Liaise with the shipping and fulfillment center to resolve delivery issues, tracking inquiries, returns, and re-shipments.
- Proactively update customers on delays or exceptions.
- Build, schedule, and send email and SMS campaigns using approved content and calendars in Klaviyo.
- Manage automated email flows, including welcome sequences, abandoned cart reminders, browse abandonment, post-purchase communications, and win-back campaigns.
- Segment customer lists, manage email deliverability, maintain list hygiene, and conduct basic A/B tests.
- Report weekly on email and SMS sends, open rates, click-through rates, revenue generated, and list growth.
- Perform simple content updates on the Shopify website, such as text changes, banners, announcement bars, collection updates, and product page modifications.
- Publish approved blog posts and news items, update FAQs, and ensure all links, pricing, and tracking are accurate.
- Align the affiliate offer calendar with paid advertising and retail promotions.
- Ensure creative assets and tracking codes (UTMs) are current across all affiliate placements.
- Share product updates, pricing changes, and compliance information with partners.
- Extract performance data from Meta and TikTok dashboards, Klaviyo, and Shopify.
- Include key Amazon metrics (sessions, unit session percentage, orders, TACoS, inventory health) and affiliate KPIs (clicks, EPC, conversions, revenue) in performance scorecards.
- Maintain a straightforward scorecard for traffic, click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate (CVR), average order value (AOV), return on ad spend (ROAS) or marketing efficiency ratio (MER) from vendors, and revenue from email and SMS.
- Identify issues early and propose solutions to vendors.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Two or more years managing social channels and customer responses for an e-commerce brand.
- Proven experience coordinating external agencies or contractors and hitting deadlines.
- Hands-on Klaviyo experience across campaigns, flows, segmentation, and deliverability basics.
- Comfortable in Shopify admin for light content updates.
- Strong written English with crisp and diplomatic customer messaging.
- Highly organized with relentless follow-through and clear reporting.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, Amazon Seller Central basics, and affiliate platforms.
- Experience working with a 3PL or fulfillment partner and a retail broker.
- Basic HTML familiarity for Shopify edits.
Location & Work Setup
This is a full-time, remote-friendly position. Core working hours are based in Eastern Time. Some evening or weekend monitoring may be required during campaigns or promotions.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $710.00-$1,211.53 per week. Benefits include profit sharing, a store discount, and the ability to work from home.
