Role Overview / Mission
This role is for an Entry-Level Freelance Marketing Assistant to support our marketing department. The mission is to assist with campaign execution, research, content management, and administrative tasks, offering a flexible opportunity to launch a career in marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms.
- Conduct market research to identify new marketing trends and opportunities.
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, including email marketing and campaign tracking.
- Help organize and manage digital files, promotional materials, and marketing reports.
- Engage with audiences online, monitor social channels, and provide customer support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of SEO strategies.
- Coordinate with freelancers and vendors for marketing material production.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- No prior full-time experience is required; this is an entry-level opportunity.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Canva, or similar platforms.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a marketing career.
- Ability to follow instructions while also bringing creativity to assigned tasks.
- Eagerness to build a career in digital marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Creative thinking with an eye for engaging content.
- Willingness to receive feedback and apply it to future work.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced digital environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Internship experience in marketing, communications, or social media.
- Portfolio or examples of previous social media or content creation work.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, content writing, or email marketing tools.
Location & Work Setup
This is a 100% remote, freelance position. You can work from anywhere in the world and from any time zone, supporting an asynchronous work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a part-time freelance position, starting at 10–20 hours per week, with potential for more based on performance and project needs. The work schedule is flexible based on availability.
