Role Overview / Mission
This entry-level freelance position supports our marketing department. The core mission of this role is to assist with campaign execution, research, content management, and various administrative tasks within a digital marketing context.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms.
- Conduct market research to identify new marketing trends and opportunities.
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, including email marketing and campaign tracking.
- Help organize and manage digital files, promotional materials, and marketing reports.
- Engage with audiences online, monitor social channels, and provide customer support when required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of SEO strategies.
- Coordinate with freelancers and vendors for marketing material production.
- Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- No prior full-time experience is required.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Canva, or similar platforms.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a marketing career.
- Ability to follow instructions while also bringing creativity to assigned tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to receive feedback and apply it to future work.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced digital environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Internship experience in marketing, communications, or social media.
- Portfolio or examples of previous social media or content creation work.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, content writing, or email marketing tools.
Location & Work Setup
This is a 100% remote, freelance position. Work hours are flexible, generally starting at 10–20 hours per week, with potential for more based on performance and project needs. The work environment supports asynchronous work from any time zone.
