Role Overview / Mission

This role is for a Contractor focused on app marketing and growth. The mission is to expand the reach of Reflection.app and contribute to its goal of helping users achieve clarity and perspective through a guided reflection practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, draft, and edit email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, including selecting visuals and ensuring targeted content delivery.
  • Update and maintain existing email onboarding flows.
  • Launch and manage Reflection.app’s social media presence, creating and sharing content, engaging with responses, and fostering community interaction.
  • Draft and publish new, SEO-friendly blog content to attract new users and offer value to existing ones.
  • Keep the Reflection.app website up to date and manage the changelog for monthly releases.
  • Submit the app for feature consideration to app stores and press outlets.
  • Explore and implement strategies to improve the user experience and reduce user churn.

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Native English speaker with strong copywriting and editing abilities, including a keen eye for typos and grammar.
  • Experience writing blog posts with an understanding of SEO principles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of taking direction while also showing initiative.
  • Ability to define and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Webflow.
  • Experience with Klaviyo.

Location & Work Setup

This is a remote, part-time contractor position. The commitment is expected to start between 5 to 10 hours per week, with potential for increased hours. Candidates should be able to commit for at least 6 months, with a preference for longer-term engagement.

Compensation & Benefits

This junior-level, part-time role offers hourly compensation, which will be determined based on experience.
