Role Overview / Mission
This full-time role leads creative, content, and growth marketing initiatives for a diverse portfolio of small to mid-sized clients. The individual will collaborate with client stakeholders and the Team 201 creative team to develop campaigns that are imaginative, relevant, and performance-driven. The mission is to enhance brand voice, expand organic reach, and explore new creative avenues to achieve substantial growth for both the agency and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
* **Creative Content & Social Leadership**
* Develop and implement content strategies from initial concept through execution across blogs, landing pages, social media, email, video, and campaigns.
* Manage organic social media for client accounts: conceptualize, write, schedule, monitor, and refine creative posts to foster engagement and community.
* Utilize AI-assisted tools for brainstorming, drafting, and optimization, while ensuring brand voice, nuance, and originality are maintained.
* Manage and update content calendars, ensuring consistency, creativity, and alignment with client brand strategy and growth objectives.
* Review and edit content produced by team members or freelancers to ensure high standards in tone, clarity, and impact.
* Collaborate with designers, developers, and paid media specialists to integrate content with visual storytelling efforts.
* **Growth & Performance Marketing**
* Employ organic growth strategies, including SEO, social media, content amplification, and community engagement, to meet specific growth goals.
* Test various creative approaches, messaging, and social media formats (e.g., reels, carousels, short video, stories) to maximize reach and engagement.
* Analyze content and social media metrics, translating data into strategic insights and optimizations.
* Lead experiments such as A/B tests, drip sequences, and social campaigns to validate creative hypotheses and improve conversion rates.
* Present growth forecasts, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, and return on investment (ROI) outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders.
* **Project Management**
* Act as the primary creative and content contact for client accounts, cultivating relationships, aligning on strategy, and managing expectations.
* Lead weekly client status meetings, preparing creative briefs, agendas, recommendations, and action items.
* Present campaign plans, creative direction, and performance reports to clients, both in writing and verbally.
* Manage internal project tracking using tools like Jira or client-specific systems to document tasks, deadlines, assets, and feedback.
* Identify opportunities for account expansion, strategic engagement, and potential upsells.
* Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, meet brand standards, and remain within agreed scope and budget.
Required Qualifications / Skills
* 5+ years of experience in creative or content marketing, within an agency or client-side role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating social and organic growth work.
* Extensive experience creating visuals and copy for social media, blogs, emails, video, and both long-form and short-form content.
* Proficiency with AI-enabled content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, generative prompts) and a proactive approach to experimenting with new technologies.
* Strong understanding of organic social media best practices, including platform trends, formats, and engagement tactics.
* Experience with analytics tools (e.g., GA4, native social analytics, content platforms) and the ability to convert data into actionable strategies.
* Comfortable with running tests, iterating on creative content, and optimizing content performance.
* Experience managing client relationships and communication.
* Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Wrike, Asana, ClickUp).
* Familiarity with marketing stack tools, including Content Management Systems (CMS), email platforms, basic SEO principles, and marketing automation systems.
* Excellent presentation, storytelling, and editing skills.
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 per year.
