Role Overview / Mission

The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in scaling our operations and expanding our reach within the luxury hospitality sector. This position exists to build awareness and attract new luxury hotels and resorts to utilize our unique barter system for advertising through our network of media partners.

Key Responsibilities

* Create detailed barter proposals and develop media plans.
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and partnerships are fostered.
* Analyze new travel trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
* Build awareness and attract new luxury hotels and resorts to use our barter-based advertising solutions.
* Propose new barter initiatives to engage resorts and hotels through various digital channels, including email, social media, and phone calls.
* Research, generate, and manage partnerships and collaborations within your client base.
* Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies aimed at increasing sales.
* Work closely with the President and other leadership to identify and execute successful collaborations, partnerships, and campaigns.

Required Qualifications / Skills

* At least 5 years of experience in advertising sales.
* Prior media sales experience is an absolute requirement.
* Proven experience in establishing and managing advertising sales.
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving the coordination of various media outlets.
* A goal-driven, detail-oriented self-starter.
* Comfortable with being held responsible for achieving specific goals.
* Strong time-management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
* Effective communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

* Experience with the travel industry or high-end resorts and spas.
* Creative thinking with a proactive approach to identifying innovative initiatives.
* Experience working with digital marketing, including Google Display Ads or Google Ads.
