Role Overview / Mission

This role exists to enhance proposal development and digital asset management through strategic content creation and scalable systems. The Proposal Content Manager will work across sales, marketing, and technical teams to translate complex information into compelling client communications. Key goals include establishing modular templates, ensuring content governance, and managing a robust content library to maintain brand consistency and accelerate proposal delivery. The position emphasizes leveraging AI, metadata strategies, and performance analytics to optimize workflows and ensure content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business objectives. This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and operational precision to deliver effective content solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and maintain modular, brand-consistent templates for proposals and client communications, allowing for scalable customization.
* Build and manage a searchable, compliant Business-to-Business (B2B) content library with metadata, taxonomy, and workflow standards to support rapid proposal development.
* Act as the primary contact for content usage, training, and best practices, ensuring consistent metadata and asset contributions across teams.
* Optimize content and automate workflows using AI to accelerate proposal development and improve output quality.
* Manage the full content lifecycle, including RFP analysis, engaging Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), archiving assets, and implementing process improvements.
* Conduct performance audits and reporting to identify valuable content, remove outdated assets, and guide new content creation.

Required Qualifications / Skills

* Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a Digital Asset Management (DAM) librarian role with hands-on experience in metadata coordination and digital asset governance.
* Expertise in metadata standards, taxonomy design, asset classification, and records management, with familiarity in licensing and media usage rights.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office Suite, and DAM technologies, along with working knowledge of SEO and various file formats (print, digital, video).
* Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects under pressure and meeting all external deadlines.
* Demonstrated success in designing tagging systems, cataloging strategies, and scalable content discovery frameworks.
* Customer-focused with strong problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills in fast-paced environments.
