Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer

About the position

North Stone / Dine Development Corporation is seeking a Senior QA/Test Automation Engineer to support software quality assurance and testing activities for mission-critical applications. The engineer will ensure applications meet quality standards through automated testing, security scan analysis, and development of artifacts supporting RMF accreditation activities. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires compliance with applicable non-discrimination regulations and E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute automated and manual software tests to ensure system functionality and reliability. Review and analyze Sonar and Checkmarx scan results to identify potential code vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain test scripts and automated testing frameworks. Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects and improve code quality. Ensure testing processes align with Agile development methodologies. Produce and maintain test documentation and test artifacts. Support the creation of artifacts required for ISSO/ISSM RMF accreditation processes. Participate in release testing and validation activities. Track defects and testing results through issue tracking systems. Support continuous improvement of software testing and QA processes.

Requirements

Active DoD Secret Clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain Privileged and SIPR access. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or automated testing. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. Experience reviewing static code analysis tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx. Knowledge of Agile development and DevSecOps environments.

Nice-to-haves

Experience supporting RMF accreditation or cybersecurity compliance efforts. Experience supporting DoW or USAF Cloud One cloud environments. Familiarity with CI/CD testing integration. ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
