Role Overview / Mission
The Trainer maintains and delivers content-specific educational materials. This role collaborates with Learning and Development teams to ensure course content and delivery effectively serves the target audience. The Trainer will facilitate sessions and demonstrate strong organizational skills, time management, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver educational programs applying adult learning principles.
- Teach classes and support other instructors in classroom and work environments.
- Use standardized courses and instructor evaluation methods.
- Contribute to annual education needs assessments for strategic program planning.
- Manage a training database to track staff competencies and skills.
- Generate training reports for managers and directors.
- Adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- One year of related experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication, including proper punctuation and spelling.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Effectiveness in working with colleagues and external parties.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly, and transcribe accurately.
- Ability to maintain effectiveness during significant changes in work tasks or environment, and adjust to new structures, processes, or cultures.
- Ability to maintain high levels of activity and productivity, sustain long hours when necessary, and operate with vigor and determination.
- Demonstrated personal ownership of tasks and follow-through to achieve results.
- Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition, handling stress acceptably.
- Working knowledge and application of learning sciences, adult learning principles, education delivery methodologies, and evaluation.
- Working knowledge and application of learning technologies to support education development and implementation, including learning management systems, virtual classroom delivery tools, and education development software such as Captivate, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, screen capture, and audio/video technology.
Location & Work Setup
This is a fully remote, 12-month contract position.
