These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Afrigini job listing services. By purchasing a service from our website, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Services
Afrigini offers two distinct hiring services. These Terms apply specifically to clients who purchase our Self-Serve Job Listing service. Our Full Hiring Service is governed by a separate agreement.
- Self-Serve Job Listing: For a flat fee, we provide you with the tools and platform to manage your own hiring process. This service includes a 30-day job posting on our website, access to our candidate database, and customer support for using the platform. At our discretion, we may also promote your listing on our social media channels. You are in complete control of the hiring process, from posting the job to communicating with and selecting candidates.
- Full Hiring Service: For clients who prefer a hands-off approach, we offer a comprehensive service where our team manages the entire recruitment process on your behalf. This includes crafting the job post, filtering candidates, testing applicants, and more. The Full Hiring Service is subject to a separate client agreement with its own terms and conditions.
2. Client Obligations for Self-Serve Job Listings
As a Client using the Self-Serve Job Listing service, you are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and the entire hiring process. By choosing this DIY option, you agree to the following:
- Accurate and Lawful Job Postings: You are responsible for ensuring all information in your job postings is accurate, complete, and not misleading. Your listings must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding employment and hiring, including non-discrimination laws. We reserve the right to remove any job posting that violates these terms or any applicable laws.
- Independent Hiring Process: You are in full control of your hiring process. Afrigini is not involved in your hiring decisions, does not act as your agent, and does not screen or vet the candidates who apply to your listing. You are responsible for all aspects of interviewing, screening, evaluating, and selecting candidates.
- Direct Communication: You will manage all communication and interactions with candidates directly.
- Prohibited Content: You may not post any job listings that are indecent, offensive, discriminatory, or promote illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to, postings with sexist, racist, or defamatory language.
3. Fees and Payment
Our Self-Serve Job Listing service is available for a flat fee of $299 per posting. This fee is non-refundable once the job has been posted. Discounts are available for multiple job postings.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Afrigini provides a platform to connect employers with potential candidates for our Self-Serve clients. We make no guarantees regarding the outcome of your job posting.
- No Guarantee of Placement: We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable candidate or successfully fill your position by using our Self-Serve Job Listing service.
- No Responsibility for Candidate Information: We do not verify the accuracy or completeness of the information provided by jobseekers in their profiles or applications. It is your sole responsibility to conduct all necessary due diligence, including background and reference checks.
- “As Is” Service: Our Self-Serve Job Listing service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Limitation of Liability: Afrigini is not responsible for any damages—whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential—arising out of your use of our Self-Serve Job Listing service or your interactions with any candidates found through our platform.
5. Intellectual Property
You grant Afrigini a limited license to use your company’s name and logo in connection with the promotion of your job posting on our website and associated channels.
6. General Provisions
- Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Afrigini is based.
- Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
