UI/UX Designer
About the position
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Remote UI/UX Designer to join The Elite Job team. You will work remotely from anywhere in the world to design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences for web and mobile, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications with a focus on usability and aesthetics; collaborate with product managers, developers and stakeholders to define user needs and project goals; conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iteratively improve designs; create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups; maintain visual design consistency and adhere to brand guidelines; stay updated on industry best practices and design tools; participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, review meetings); provide feedback to other designers and assist in design-system development and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field or equivalent experience; minimum of 3 years professional experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio; proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar; strong knowledge of UX/UI design principles, responsive and mobile-first design; experience creating interactive prototypes and wireframes; excellent communication and remote collaboration skills; ability to multitask and manage time effectively; familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
Experience working in remote or distributed teams; knowledge of design systems and component libraries; understanding of accessibility best practices and design for inclusivity; experience with performance-based design iterations and data-driven design decisions.
