Frontend Developer

About the position

We are seeking a Frontend Developer for a full-time, remote position at Sirio, a specialist consulting firm operating at the intersection of consumers, regulation and utilities. The role involves developing and maintaining user-facing features, ensuring responsive and intuitive web design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the end-user experience. The Frontend Developer will integrate with back-end services and contribute to creating high-quality code while maintaining best practices in development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user-facing features; ensure responsive and intuitive web design; collaborate with cross-functional teams (including back-end developers, product and design) to optimize end-user experience; integrate frontend with back-end services; write high-quality, maintainable code and follow development best practices; participate in code reviews and team collaboration.

Requirements

Proficiency in front-end development and responsive web design; knowledge of web development and collaboration with back-end web development; experience in software development with strong problem-solving and coding skills; familiarity with modern development tools, libraries, and frameworks; excellent teamwork and communication skills; bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

Experience in the utilities or infrastructure sector; experience with stakeholder-driven decision making, consumer vulnerability considerations, or social value measurement is an advantage.
