Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the position

Blip Payments is a rapidly growing Irish fintech startup, backed by Enterprise Ireland, helping businesses simplify the way they manage payments. We’re looking for multiple Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our team and play a key role in our growth. This role is ideal for ambitious self-starters who prefer unlimited earning potential over fixed salaries. Responsibilities

Build and qualify pipeline, reach out to prospects, and generate qualified opportunities for the closing team. Work within defined playbooks with weekly coaching and accountability. Engage in consultative outreach to SMB to mid-market clients across in-store, e-commerce, subscriptions, MOTO, and pay-by-link solutions. Collaborate with founders and senior team members and contribute to company growth in a fast-moving startup environment.

Requirements

Entry level / suitable for ambitious self-starters comfortable with a commission-only structure and building a pipeline. Must have a laptop and internet and be able to work remotely. Strong communication skills, self-discipline, and a results-driven mindset are implied by the commission-only, performance-focused role.

Nice-to-haves

Experience or interest in fintech or payments, familiarity with e-commerce integrations (WooCommerce, Wix, QuickBooks), or prior sales development or startup experience. Interest in progressing into closing roles and more senior sales positions as the company scales.
