Automation Testing Trainer

About the position

This is a remote position. As an Automation Testing Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality training that enables learners to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of automation testing. You will provide hands-on training to learners, develop training materials, create and manage training schedules, and ensure that the training programs are effective in achieving the desired learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver training programs on automation testing, including creating training materials, designing course outlines and syllabus, and facilitating training sessions. Provide hands-on training and mentoring to learners to ensure they develop a strong understanding of automation testing concepts, tools, and frameworks. Develop and execute training plans, schedules, and delivery methods that align with the needs of the learners and the organization. Assess the effectiveness of the training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in automation testing and incorporate them into the training programs. Collaborate with other trainers and stakeholders to ensure the training programs are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Create and maintain documentation related to the training programs, including course materials, training schedules, and assessments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with learners and stakeholders effectively at all levels. Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering training programs, including developing training materials, designing course outlines and syllabus, and facilitating training sessions. Knowledge of various automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to automation testing. Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred. Experience in automation testing with Selenium using Java or Python is a must. A passion for learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working in an Agile development environment. Familiarity with multiple automation tools and frameworks and experience mentoring learners or junior testers.
