About the position

TermGrid is rewriting the rules of private capital markets. We are looking for a powerhouse Frontend Engineer who views the browser as a high-performance application platform. You won’t just be building components; you’ll be architecting the interface of modern finance. You’ll sit at the intersection of sophisticated UI patterns and robust security, ensuring our platform is as resilient as it is intuitive. The company is an end-to-end platform for private capital markets supporting private equity sponsors, lenders, debt advisors and legal counsel with efficient transaction execution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Architect & Scale: Build and maintain high-performance, reusable React components using TypeScript. Bridge the Stack: Collaborate closely with the backend team to design seamless API contracts and data flows. Secure the Frontier: Implement best-in-class web security practices (OWASP, CSP, XSS prevention) to protect sensitive financial data. Optimize: Turn complex data sets into fluid, responsive user experiences with a focus on state management and rendering efficiency. Lead Quality: Drive frontend excellence through code reviews, testing, and modern CSS/HTML standards.

Requirements

Core Mastery: Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Modern JavaScript (ES6+). Web Fundamentals: Expert-level knowledge of CSS, HTML5, and core browser APIs. Security Mindset: A strong understanding of web security protocols and performance optimization. Collaborative Spirit: Experience working alongside backend engineers to ship complex features end-to-end. Product Instinct: You care about the why behind the code, not just the how.
