Business Process Engineer

About the position

Outcome Logix is seeking a Business Process Engineer to analyze and optimize business processes with a focus on enhancing user experience and operational effectiveness. The role involves mapping current processes, applying human-centered design principles, and supporting change management to ensure smooth adoption of improvements. Duration is a 6-12 month contract (possibility of extension). Location: Remote.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize processes by reviewing and mapping current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement; collaborate across cross-functional teams (design, UX/UI, product management, technology) to define and improve user journey processes and ensure alignment with business goals; develop and maintain clear process documentation including workflows, process diagrams, and requirements; apply human-centered design principles to ensure processes are user-centric for customers and internal stakeholders; assist in implementation of process changes and support change management to enable smooth adoption; measure and report outcomes using data-driven insights to evaluate process performance, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in business process engineering, preferably in user experience, design, or digital transformation projects; strong understanding of human-centered design principles and their relation to business process improvement; excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvements across diverse teams; familiarity with tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for process mapping and documentation; strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working in financial services or a highly regulated industry; experience with Salesforce-related banking processes or Salesforce integrations (implied by job title and listing).
