The Elite Job is seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate various technical projects. As a part-time role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and align with the companys strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a remote environment. This role requires exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of technical projects from concept to completion. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, aligning them with business goals. Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and external stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure project transparency. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Develop detailed project plans, track performance, and adjust as needed to meet changing requirements. Facilitate meetings, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Manage and maintain project documentation and reports, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in a remote setting. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). Excellent understanding of technical systems, software development life cycles (SDLC), and IT infrastructure. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously in a remote environment. Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana). Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience with remote team management and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field (Masters preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management and previous experience managing remote and distributed teams.
Nice-to-haves
Experience working in various industries. Masters degree preferred. Experience coordinating global teams across different time zones and familiarity with a range of collaboration and PM tools.
