IT M&A Infrastructure – Project Manager – Pharma Domain
About the position
IT Infrastructure Project Manager role focused on infrastructure for M&A workstreams within the pharmaceutical domain, emphasizing networks, data centers, cloud, security, lifecycle management, and regulatory awareness including validation and audit readiness. Remote work is indicated with expectations around time-zone accommodation and potential on-site milestones for validation or certification events.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver infrastructure projects, manage stakeholders across IT, QA and business functions, oversee budgets and vendors, manage risks and issues, run change control, coordinate validation activities and prepare validation artifacts (IQ/OQ/PQ), produce project charters, RACI matrices, project plans, risk registers/RAID logs, test plans and closure reports, and ensure audit readiness.
Requirements
PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent, familiarity with ITIL/COBIT, experience delivering validated environments and regulatory compliance (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV/validation), cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP), network and security architecture knowledge, CMDB and disaster recovery experience, and ability to work remotely using collaboration tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Teams/Zoom).
Nice-to-haves
Pharma/biotech domain experience, SAP/ERP integration knowledge, data analytics and cybersecurity governance experience, certifications such as CISSP or cloud certifications, experience producing validation master plans and traceability matrices, and managing vendor risk in regulated environments.
