Project Manager II

About the position

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager- II to support Kadiak and our government customer. The position is remote. We provide enterprise solutions, professional services and operational management to Federal Government Agencies and emphasize solution-oriented business partnerships and a commitment to exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities

Overall project ownership and management of key projects, focusing on both short-term initiatives and long-term strategic direction and objectives for the programs. Management of cross-functional projects and initiatives. Proactive and solutions-oriented management of program operations and integration issues, including conceptualizing and envisioning the impact of change and proposing new ways to meet client/partner needs. Apply project management skills to ensure transparency, reporting, and successful project delivery. Maintain relationships within KGS and with client leadership. Utilize project management expertise to ensure workflows, processes, risks, communications, resources, and quality are managed appropriately. Determine program needs and direct project management as needed. Identify risks, concerns, or issues and escalate to management as appropriate. Exercise judgment to make decisions and ensure programs/projects are effectively progressing. Lead regular cross-functional informational or working meetings, including effective agenda planning, facilitation, and tracking/follow up on deliverables until closed. Meetings include Business Stakeholders and Operations Working team. Develop, document, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Contract Performance, Program Performance, and Technical Performance of Vendors.
